                       INTER-BBS INSTRUCTIONS
(Using Sunrise-80 BBS as Your HUB)
(Can be used as a template for those that have set themselves up as HUBS)
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1) Contact Al Lawrence (Sysop), VOICE, to obtain a unique NODE number. Do not
assign one yourself as duplicate numbers will mean your scores will not be
recognized. (NOTE: You would contact me ONLY if you want to use Sunrise-80
as your HUB, else contact your HUB).

(2) To Upload/Download files while logged on to the BBS:

    a. Upload your YYYYYY0.xxx (YYYYYY = DoorName and xxx=your assigned NODE
number) file to Sunrise-80 BBS. At the Main Command prompt type:
               U HIROLL0.xxx (xxx=your assigned NODE number).

When asked for a description enter:

/your BBS name - HIROLL INTERBBS FILE

You will receive a message from the BBS that the upload was unsuccessful
or something of that nature. Disregard it since all it means is that it
did not like the format you uploaded in (ie: it did not have a ZIP
       extension).

NOTE: You can not ZIP up individual score files, but you CAN ZIP all your
individual score files into ONE ZIP file and then upload that file,
rather than individual files. If you chose this option, you MUST
use a filename of anyname.xxx, where xxx=your node number. Be sure
to let Al Lawrence know what you are using for the ZIPPED file
name, before you transmit for the first time.

    b. During the same call you would Download the latest consolidated door
score file (naming convention would be the same as uploading an indvidual
file (ie: Hiroll0.xxx) with the exception that the extension will ALWAYS
be .001). If you wanted to download ALL the .001 files you would download
       a ZIPPED file named INTERBBS.ALL.

                          D HIROLL0.001.

                               or

                          D INTERBBS.ALL

You would then run INTERBBS on your system to import the latest
consolidated file. Of course, you will first have to unZIP the
INTERBBS.ALL and place the .001 files in their respective directories.

(3) If using a Front-End program to transfer files you can follow the
instructions above, with the exception of the SPECIFIC instructions that
pertain to logging on a BBS and uploading. You would instead send the
appropriate files and in the same session you would FREQ either the
    indivual .001 file(s) or FREQ: INTERBS.ALL

(4) On the first of the month you must ensure that your last score file, that
contains the final scores for the prior month, makes it to Sunrise-80 BBS
no later than 0930 EST. Failure to send by that time will mean that any
scores accumulated since your last transmission will not be figured into
    the prior month's High Score.

(5) Depending on the Door game, you must ensure that the following information
for each Door, is what is in the doors CFG file. Failure to have the same
values in the CFG file will result in the file being rejected.

See CFGVALUE.TXT that accompanies this file, for required CFG
entries that MUST be used when using Sunrise -80 as your HUB!!
