  [D]ownload A QWK Packet

This command allows you to create and download a QWK Message
    Packet.

If you wish to log off the system after downloading your QWK
packet, type 'DG' instead of 'D', at the Command Prompt. If you
wish to Quit back to the Main GAP Command Prompt, type 'DQ'
instead of 'D', at the Command Prompt.

A QWK Message Packet is a special file that can be utilized by
OffLine Mail Readers. An OffLine Mail Reader is a program that
allows you to read messages at your leasure. You may read and
enter messages while not connected to the BBS, thus saving you
    phone charges.

The QWK packet contains ALL of the New messages in EACH of the
Forums that you have selected to be included in the packet, since
the last time you were on.

  [U]pload An REP Packet

This command allows you to upload an REP Message Packet.

If you wish to log off the system after uploading your REP
packet, type 'UG' instead of 'U', at the Command Prompt. If you
wish to Quit back to the Main GAP Command Prompt, type 'UQ'
instead of 'U', at the Command Prompt.

An REP Message Packet is a file that is created by a QWK Mail
Reader program. It contains messages that you have entered

  [C]olor On/Off

This command will toggle the display of ANSI Colors On and Off.

  [S]elect Forums

This command allows you to select the Forums that you would like
to have included in your QWK packet. When GAP prepares a QWK
packet for you, it includes ALL New Messages in ALL Forums that
you have selected to be a part of your QWK packet.

By using this command, you can instruct GAP to include ONLY
those Forums that you are interested in.

Depending upon how many Forums the Sysop has configured and how
many of those Forums you are a Member of, there will be 1 or more
screens displayed that will show the Forum Number, Name of the
Forum, Highest Message Number in that forum, your Last Read Message
Number in that Forum, and a flag that will be a 'Y' if that Forum
is selected to be included in your QWK Packet or blank if the
    Forum is not selected.

    The following prompt will appear:

      Select QWK Forums : Enter Forum [#], [Q]uit, [Enter] = More :

The '[Enter] = More' will not be displayed if the current screen
is the last screen to be displayed.

This prompt allows you to type the Forum Number to either include
or not include in your QWK packet. When you type a Forum Number to
work with, the follow prompt will appear:

(Forum xxx) - [D]eselect, Last Read Message [#], Enter to Select :

      [D]eselect

This command allows you to prevent the Current Forum
(the one whos number appears in place of the 3 x's in the above
prompt) from being included in your QWK packet. This allows you
to be a Member of a Forum and yet not have that Forum's New
Messages included in your QWK packet.

      Last Read Message [#]

If you type a number, then GAP will include the Current Forum
in your QWK packet and will also reset your Last Read Message
Number to the number you specify.

      Enter to Select

By simply pressing the Enter key, GAP will include the Current
        Forum in your QWK packet.
