SETD8.BAT provides a way to get the current date into an
environment variable named d8. This information can then
be used in another batch file. TESTDATE.BAT is an example
of how to test for the correct date. You would need to
change the 10-10-94 to the date you want to test for. This
can be useful if you have something you want to happen only
on a specific date.

